Greetings! I am a doctoral student in the Word History program at Northeastern University. I have a BA in History and Biology from Butler University. My research interests cover colonial world history, North America and the Atlantic world history, and the history of science and medicine. I am also completing a certificate in Digital Humanities.
I am writing a blog series this summer on different themes for my comprehension field in the history of science and medicine. The posts will be for the Medical Health and Humanities journal (now called “Synapsis”).
The topic list for the posts will be:
- Race in early American medicine:
- Gender and medical understanding
- Public Health before the Revolution
- Colonial Medicine and defining the body
06.15.2018: First post is up! Second post ETP (estimated time of publishing) will be mid-July.
